2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Contact Information: Name, email address, WhatsApp/mobile number when you submit a rental requirement or sign up as a dealer.
Rental Preferences: City, locality, BHK requirement, budget range, furnishing preference, property type, and move-in date when you search for rental homes.
OTP Verification: Your WhatsApp number for the purpose of verifying your identity and sending you a one-time password (OTP).
Dealer Information: Company name, GSTIN, address, and property details when registering as a property dealer on our platform.
Communications: Messages, feedback, or support requests you send to us via email, WhatsApp, or our contact forms.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, features used, search queries, and interactions with the Platform.
Device Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device identifiers.
Cookies & Local Storage: Session data, preferences, and analytics identifiers stored in your browser.
Location Data: City-level location inferred from your IP address to personalise search results.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Verified Dealers: Your rental requirements (area, BHK, budget, move-in date) are shared with verified property dealers on our network to enable them to respond with matching properties. Your direct contact details are only shared after you explicitly unlock a lead or consent to be contacted.
Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services to operate our Platform, including Resend (email delivery), WhatsApp Business API (OTP & notifications), Cloudflare (hosting and security), and analytics tools. These providers process data only on our behalf.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CasaSindhu, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure database storage, access controls, regular security reviews, and OTP-based authentication instead of passwords.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Specifically:
Rental Requirements: Retained for 90 days after submission, or until you request deletion.
Account Data (Dealers): Retained for the duration of your active account, plus 2 years after account closure for legal and audit purposes.
OTP Records: Deleted within 24 hours of generation or use.
Activity Logs: Retained for 5 days for security and debugging purposes.
Communication Records: Retained for up to 3 years for dispute resolution and compliance purposes.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law and our own commitment to transparency, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Right to Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
Right to Opt Out of Marketing: You may opt out of receiving promotional communications at any time by replying STOP to any WhatsApp message or clicking unsubscribe in any email.
